Chinese style painting. The painter started with splashing ink and colors method, also known as "ink and wash style" described by Gao Yanqun in an article "Chinese spirit of ink and wash paintings", and completed with fine details.

Thirty years later in 2015 the painter carefully added a group of red-crowned cranes that lends the sense of motion and "a way out" to the otherwise timeless but still scene.
